I am using the free version of “booster”. The already available options are more than enough for my needs, except for one.. The “empty cart” button is very useful (almost mandatory) but it is not possible to modify the default text “empty cart”. This is a problem for sites using languages others than English.. Of course most people (but not all) will understand what “empty cart” means but when a whole site is in French or Spanish , German etc.. it does not look very professional when a few words are still in English. So: my request: would it be possible in the free version just to offer the possibility of changing the default text the other custom functions remaining linked to buying the pro version. Alternatively, could you provide a suitable hook/filter/ function that could allow text changes. I think It would be useful for many if not all foreign users of the plugin.
Thanks a lot for considering my request. Regards.

Hi Kara,

Thanks for reporting. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to reproduce the error on our test site – with “Empty Cart” button enabled, “Place Order” button seems to work fine, and I was able to finish the order normally. Maybe it’s possible to create/share an admin account to your server (WP and preferably FTP) so I could login and check what’s going on? If sharing an account is not an option – maybe you could send me “Empty Cart Button” module’s settings (e.g. screenshot) and also maybe you could enable the button and send me the link to your site’s frontend? My email is tom@booster.io.

Best regards,
Tom

When I disabled the “empty cart” option, then my customer was able to place his order.

Hi Niclas,

I’ve just logged to your site and hopefully managed to identify the problem. For some reason some positions in “Button position on the Checkout page” are not working properly – I will have to recheck that, but it may be that this is our bug (in this case it will be fixed in next plugin update). Anyway, I’ve now changed position to “After checkout form” and it seems to be working fine now. Please recheck.

Best regards,
Tom

P.S. If you like Booster, please leave us a rating.

Hi Niclas,

Sorry for a delay. I’ve just checked on my test server, but unfortunately couldn’t reproduce the issue – “Empty Cart” button is not acting as order confirmation button for me. If possible please create/share an admin account to your server (WP and preferably FTP) so I could login and check what’s going on. My email is tom@booster.io. If sharing an account is not an option – please let me know and I will try to solve this remotely.

Best regards,
Tom

Major bugg: When I click the Empty Cart button on the Checkout page, client is prompted to accept Terms & Conditions. If ToC is checked, and Empty Cart button clicked, the order is placed!

So the Empty Cart button has the same function as the Order confirmation button.

Same result on free and paid version of Booster.
